To create a filter for your app data, click on the arrow next to the name of the field that your wish to filter. From the drop-down menu, select the type of filter (Filter by condition/Filter by value) that you'd like to apply and click on SubmitYou can also Sort records from here.


Filter by condition

You can run the following conditional filters in Orgzit apps:


None     Means that there is no conditional filter applied.
Blank Will only show records in which no data has been entered under the chosen field.
Not blank Will only show records in which data has been entered under the chosen field.
Equals Will only show records which match the value entered here.
Not equals Will show all records except those that match the value entered here.
Less than Useful for decimal and integer values. Will show records in which the value under the chosen field is less than the value entered here.
Less than or equal to Useful for decimal and integer values. Will show records in which the value under the chosen field is less than or equal to the value entered here.
Greater than Useful for decimal and integer values. Will show records in which the value under the chosen field is greater than the value entered here.
Greater than or equal to Useful for decimal and integer values. Will show records in which the value under the chosen field is greater than or equal to the value entered here.


Filter by value

You will be shown a list of different values that exist under the chosen field. Check the boxes against the values for which you wish to see records. 


Sort

Use Sort A-Z to sort your records in ascending order, or Sort Z-A to sort your records in descending order.


Clearing filters

To remove all filters from your records, go to the Filters button and click on Clear Filter


Saving a filter

First, apply the filter or filters that you'd like to save. Then go the Filters button, click on Save Filter, enter a name for the filter, and hit Submit.


Viewing saved filters

To view a saved filter, go to the Filters button and click on the relevant filter from the drop-down list of saved filters.


Deleting saved filters

To delete a saved filter, go to the Filters button and click on the trashcan next to the filter name from the drop-down list of saved filters.
